Andy Brown
A graduate of Salford university with first class honours, Andy has been playing all types of music for well over 20 years with experience in pop, jazz, rock, funk band on the function circuit and in the music industry. A professional bass player on both the Bass guitar and Double bass, Andy is a versatile and experienced player. Andy has also had a great deal of experience working in and around recording studios and has taught various workshops and classes using software such as reason, cubase, pro-tools etc.
An experienced teacher Andy has had a great deal of history working with young people in musical environments. These have ranged from one on one tuition to classroom based ‘traditional teaching’ and have included multi-instruments and styles. Andy’s teaching styles range from the conventional to the flexible as his main experiences lie in the alternative curriculum area working with challenging young people and promoting self belief and self confidence using music as a tool.
