Anna Zweck
Anna Zweck is a musician and flute teacher based in Manchester. Born in Papau New Guinea, she moved to Australia at the age of 8 and began learning the flute not long after. She completed her Bachelor of Music (Perf) Honours at the Elder School of Music, Adelaide University in 2002 with flute teachers Louise Dellit, Michael Scott and Elizabeth Koch. She has performed in master classes with William Bennett, Michael Cox, Peter Lloyd, Jean-Pierre Artaud and Anders Ljungar-Chapelon. She began her pedagogic teaching career in 2000, teaching in primary and high schools, as well as privately. She currently resides in Manchester where she performs as a musician with folk-pop outfit, Samson and Delilah and contemporary music trio, Expatrio. She continues to teach pupils the flute both classically and as an instrument that crosses musical genres.
